  The economy is great now, the stock market reaching new records. Yes, but remember George Bush legacy after eight years, the worst recession in decades, after presiding over a growing economy. What will Trump legacy will be at the end of eight years (assuming re-election)?. His tariff wars don't bode well. The economy started growing and kept growing through the entire Obama and Clinton presidencies. Let's see if Trump can match that.

  As much as I dislike big government, the numbers don't lie, the economy in recent times seems to do better under Democrats presidencies.

  Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Baker Who Refused to Bake Cake for Gay Couple

  seems like such an obviously correct decision to overturn the previous overreach - it should never have been necessary to go to the supreme court but happened because the rights of the religious were being ignored.. as the fundamental level, no one should be able to compel you to work for them or to provide services that go against your beliefs, and certainly not have the government be able to force you to comply.. if this was allowed there would be so many unreconcilable situations that would clog up courts over nonsense.. i also have little patience for these activists that intentionally look to be offended.

  it really doesn't do their cause any good to go round looking to make trouble for people.

  These gay activists could use their time in a better way. Instead of trying to force other people to accept them and wasting our court systems valuable time, they should look at the opportunity before them. They can open a bakery to serve the gay community and everyone else or not. If they decide to serve exclusively gay people, that's fine with me. From a business point of view, it'd be stupid, but they would have the right to serve whomever they want. And I would defend that right.
  

  No, I am not a homophobe. I support gay marriage all the way without reservation, but I am opposed to people playing victims when they are not. They are just plain obnoxious.

  Any private business should be able to discriminate on the basis of whatever they want, race included. It's stupid and bad for the bottom line, but it should be a protected right to handle my business in whichever stupid way I want. That's true freedom from government tyranny. But that's just me.   How the hell do they burn so much money so fast? As was said before, money flows only one way in this organization . Other non-profits return the money to the members and the community in the form of services, such assistance to the poor with food, housing, employment, summer camps for kids, help to victims of domestic violence, drug addiction and alcoholism problems. And those non-profits actually pay salaries. The Watchtower appeared to spend most of it on printed publications. Now that's practically gone. Most of the labor is provided by volunteers. They even hardly pay the people that go out to give speeches or oversee congregations. The congregations themselves take care of that expense. It's a money scam, it has to be.
